Chevron amethyst
Purple and white, layer on layer.
Dream amethyst is a variety of amethyst, the purple form of quartz. It grows through the same geological processes as other amethyst, mainly in igneous rocks and quartz veins.
As growth conditions shift while the crystal forms, it lays down alternating layers of amethyst and white quartz, creating the banding that gives each sphere its look.
A stone of intuition and calm.
In crystal tradition, spheres are said to send energy out equally in every direction, and their symmetry is thought to give off a high frequency of positive energy.
Dream amethyst is known for its calming, soothing energy and is believed to help relieve stress and anxiety and promote emotional balance. It is often used in meditation or in times of emotional turmoil to invite relaxation, tranquility and inner peace. It is also thought to shield the aura from negative energies and psychic attacks, keeping a harmonious, balanced energy field around you.
It is said to stimulate the third eye and crown chakras, deepening connection with the spiritual realms and enhancing intuition, and to aid dream recall and interpretation for spiritual insight and guidance.
In ancient times, dream amethyst was regarded as a stone of protection and was believed to ward off drunkenness: drinking from a cup carved from it was said to prevent intoxication.
Through the ages, crystals have been collected and prized for their beauty, their rich history and their spiritual and metaphysical properties. We believe in the mystical properties of crystals, though nothing we sell comes with a magical guarantee.
