Like its playful namesake, Dalmatian jasper is sometimes called the stone of happiness and fun.

Each piece is tumbled into a smooth cube, an ideal pocket stone to keep close. The square shape represents stability, structure and grounding energy, said to amplify its abilities in manifestation and organization.

What is Dalmatian jasper?

A stone that looks like a Dalmatian.

Also known as Dalmatian Stone, this rock bears a striking resemblance to the iconic spotted dog breed. Its distinct pattern comes from its composition of feldspars, quartz and alkali amphiboles, scattered with enchanting arfvedsonite spots.

It comes primarily from the Chihuahua region of Mexico, with other known sources in Australia, India and parts of Europe.

A stone of playfulness, grounding and protection.

Dalmatian jasper is thought to move you forward in life, and it is believed to carry a playful energy that is good for yin/yang balance. In crystal energy work it is associated with the Root Chakra and Sacral Chakra, connected to rootedness, safety, creativity and passion in life.

Dalmatian stones have been used to help with bad dreams: slipped under the sleeping area, it is believed to dispel them, with the belief that its black spots soak up the negative energy.
