Amazonite
Blue-green feldspar named for the Amazon.
Amazonite is a microcline potassium feldspar whose aqua and green hues come from traces of lead. It takes its name from the Amazon River and is found in Brazil, Canada, the United States, Austria, India, Russia, Mozambique and Namibia.
Legend says the Amazon warrior women adorned their weapons with it, and its story reaches back to the Stone Age.
Several stones are shown to show how each one varies; each order includes one stone.
The feel-better stone.
In crystal tradition, amazonite is a stone of communication, soothing and harmony. It is believed to calm the nerves, ease stress and help you think and feel more clearly, and it is linked with the heart and throat chakras, luck and courage. Rough stones are said to keep energy flowing freely and help focus an intention.
Crystals have been prized for centuries for their beauty and believed metaphysical properties; Spirit Magicka makes no guarantee of any mystical or healing effect.
