What is bumblebee jasper?
Born in volcanic vents.
Bumblebee jasper is a rare and visually stunning stone. Despite its other name, bumblebee agate, it is not a true agate but a mix of volcanic minerals, including sulfur, hematite and arsenic, which give it its distinctive coloring. It forms from the mineral deposits of volcanic fumaroles, mainly in the volcanic landscapes of Indonesia, and is prized for its vivid colors and uplifting look.
A stone of courage.
Known as a “stone of courage,” bumblebee jasper is believed to inspire resilience, stimulate creativity and encourage transformation. Its bright hues are said to bring energy and positivity, helping you embrace change, overcome obstacles, release fear and boost confidence, and it is thought to help you align with your purpose and face challenges head-on.
In crystal energy work, it is associated with the Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras, said to energize willpower and creativity, help you embrace personal power and pursue goals with determination, and inspire the self-confidence to break free from limitations.
Through the ages, crystals and stones have been collected and prized for their timeless beauty, their rich history and their spiritual and metaphysical properties. We believe in the mystical properties of crystals, though nothing we sell comes with any sort of magical guarantee.
