Named for the goddess of the moon.
Selenite takes its name from Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon. In crystal tradition, orange selenite is a stone of cleansing, purity and harmony: a bowl of it is said to clear and recharge the crystals and jewelry placed inside, and to fill a room with calm, uplifting energy.
Its warm color links it with the sacral chakra, and it is believed to spark creativity, passion and emotional balance.
Crystals have been prized for centuries for their beauty and believed metaphysical properties; Spirit Magicka makes no guarantee of any mystical or healing effect.
