Larger slices of Labradorite are even used in architecture and as countertops in kitchens and bathrooms while smaller, rarer pieces are used in fine and expensive jewelry. The more inexpensive pieces of Labradorite still have labradorescence but just not as vivid as the more valuable pieces and they are used in pendants, rings, bracelets, and as tumbled stones and carvings. It has a Mohs hardness of 5-6.
