There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to get to sleep at night. You might find yourself awake at 2 am unable to fall asleep, with your mind racing, unable to stop. A poor night's sleep can leave you feeling both physically and emotionally exhausted the next day.
Sleep is the deepest type of cleansing, and when you are unable to sleep it can throw everything in your life off balance. There are a few tips and tricks you can try for getting a better night's sleep. To start, you want to make sure that your bedroom is clutter-free as clutter can make your mind feel cluttered, which in turn can make it difficult to sleep or lead to nightmares.
Another tip is to remove any reflective surfaces from your bedroom, such as mirrors, TVs, computers, or cellphones. If you can't remove everything you can always cover them at night with a cloth. According to Feng Shui, if you aren't sleeping well, a mirror in your room could be the reason, as mirrors are thought to bounce energy around the bedroom, which may amplify worries and cause restlessness. It's especially important that you not hang a mirror on the wall opposite your bed.
Energetically cleanse your bedroom. On a sunny day, open up the windows and let some sunshine in, or give it a good sage, you'll feel the difference.
You can also try using some crystals in your bedroom.
